Rental security
Before moving in, you must arrange a rental security fee, corresponding to two months’ rent. The rental security can be paid into the company’s account, or be a payment obligation from FPA or the Social Services Agency. If you are planning to seek financial support for this security deposit, you must first make an agreement with the FPA. You can submit the application to the Social Services Agency if there are strong grounds for a transfer.

The lease
You can sign the rental agreement when the security is arranged and the agreement enters into force. In connection with signing the agreement, you will also receive the keys to the home. The rental agreement can be signed at our office.
Housing allowance
If you are entitled to housing allowance, you should submit your application to FPA immediately when the rental agreement is signed.
Relocation notification
Notification of relocation should be made to the post office and/or the magistrate. The move notification can easily be made directly online, www.flyttanmalan.fi.
Once you have registered for the postal service, the post office will forward your letters to your new address free of charge for one month. Authorities and banks will automatically receive your new address when you have made a move notification.
Electricity agreement
You must sign an electricity contract yourself when you move to the new home.
You choose electricity companies yourself and can contact them by phone or online.
Home insurance
We strongly recommend that you immediately obtain home insurance when you have signed the rental agreement.
The housing company has full value insurance. However, this does not cover any of your personal items that may have been stolen, or destroyed in a fire or by water damage. Home insurance usually covers these costs.
Parking spaces with heating element
You can reserve parking spaces in connection with the signing of the rental agreement. You can also do it afterwards. You should contact the office to check which places are available. Parking spaces with a heating element cost 10.00 € per month.
Sauna times
Sauna times can be reserved in connection with the signing of the rental agreement. You can also do it afterwards. You should contact the office to check which times are available. A sauna visit costs 3.00 € each time, i.e. 12.00 € per month.
